First meeting of the partners of MICROIDEA – “MICRO-credentials: Identifying, DEveloping, testing and Assessing innovative approaches” European Project.

In 17 & 18/4/2024 the partners of MICROIDEA – “MICRO-credentials: Identifying, DEveloping, testing and Assessing innovative approaches” European Project met in Patras.

During the meeting, the Project’s partner, presented the methodology for the development of the deliverables of the several project’s work packages, specified the quality system requirements, with regards not only to the procedures and documents used, but also to the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), defined the various working groups, agreed on the dissemination plan ang scheduled the next meetings, not only for the individual working groups, but also all the partners.

In this Project, TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS partnerships with the following Organizations:

• University of Peloponnese, German Hellenic Industrial and Commercial Chamber, TÜV AUSTRIA HELLAS, ACRONYM Ltd and p-Consulting- C.M. Skoulidi & Sia, from Greece
• G. Eurosuccess Consulting Ltd and Nicosia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, from Cyprus
• DomSpain S.L. and Cámara Oficial de Comercio Industria Servicios y Navegación de Reus, from Spain
• Instytut Analiz Rynku Pracy, from Poland and
• European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, from Belgium

The project’s MICROIDEA – “MICRO-credentials: identifying, developing, testing and assessing innovative approaches” objectives are:

• the development of a micro-credentials’ assessment system based on the requirements of the International Standard ISO/IEC 17024
• the development of a specific methodology for the harmonization between the national certification systems (where they exist, for non-formal training) and ISO/IEC 17024 certification
• the development and implementation of a web-based tool for the analysis of skills’ needs
• the implementation of the micro-credentials assessment system based on the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17024 International Standard for a professional specialty in the tourism sector.
