Solution: Energy performance of lifts, escalators & moving walks

Nowadays, rising energy costs and increasing public demand for environmentally friendly solutions and energy efficient buildings have led to the design and implementation of energy efficient solutions for the operation and modernization of building equipment.

The efficient use of energy is thus an increasingly important factor in the sustainable operation of buildings.

To obtain a clear and reliable picture of the energy efficiency of lifts, escalators and moving walks during their daily use, a comprehensive energy audit is required.

TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas undertakes the measurement and evaluation of energy efficiency according to ISO 25745, as well as the relevant documentation through the corresponding detailed report and the Energy Performance Certificate.

The ISO 25745 standard specifies the necessary measurements and the method of calculating the energy consumption on an annual basis.

The result of the assessment is reflected in a reference value used for classification into an energy category according to energy efficiency.
